The Dementia Family Caregiver Center offers this CARERS program (Coaching, Advocacy, Respite, Education, Relationship, and Stimulation). It's a supportive group program that's designed to improve the skills, knowledge, and competence of family caregivers, specifically those supporting people with dementia. This iteration of the program is designed for adult children. As such, it should address some of the complexities of the parent-child relationship and what this means for caregiving.
